Product description
100% organic cotton (certified organic), yarn-dyed. The yarns are dyed in an environmentally friendly and guaranteed pollutant-free manner by an IVN-certified company (International Association of Natural Textile Industry). The natural yarns are dyed before weaving, ensuring the colors are well and permanently fixed. The raw yarns are not chemically pre- or post-treated and are therefore free of harmful substances. The dyes are completely free of heavy metals, sweat- and saliva-resistant, and entirely non-toxic to the skin.
Dolcino baby carriers are produced and designed entirely in Germany and Switzerland, adhering to high ecological and social standards.
Jacquard is a very intricate weave that allows for almost any pattern. The pattern is visible on both sides in reverse color sequence. It is very similar to twill in feel and stretch resistance, but softer and significantly more elastic diagonally. Jacquard is ideal for baby carriers. It has the excellent qualities of twill but is considerably more breathable, which is especially beneficial in summer.
Thanks to the double-stitched woven edge, our towels are safe, comfortable, and retain their shape even after prolonged use. The edges are also color-coded, making it easier to align the fabric panels.
We recommend washing the baby carrier at 40°C. To prevent shrinkage, do not tumble dry. Following these care instructions will help maintain its good diagonal stretch. For heavy soiling, you can occasionally wash your carrier at 60°C.
All towels are 70cm wide. They are not pre-washed. The dimensions are calculated so that the towel will reach its final size after the first wash.
Dolcino offers the two most common lengths of baby slings: 4.60 meters (long sling) and 5.40 meters (extra long sling).
The long wrap (4.60 x 0.70 m): If you are up to approximately 1.75 m tall or weigh up to 70 kg, you can use this wrap to tie all common variations (which we describe in our carrying instructions). Even if you are taller than 1.75 m or weigh over 70 kg, you can still tie all other variations – except for the double X-carry and the wrap X-carry.
