Basic course on wraps & compresses

Target audience: Parents who wish to support their child's recovery phase with the help of time-tested home remedies, or people who want to do something good for themselves or their environment.

Contents:

• History of the wraps
• Basic materials, materials science, wrapping & co.
• An overview of possible wrap additives such as aromatherapy, various balms, healing wool
• Different cold symptoms, different compresses -> Compresses for earaches, sore throats, coughs, sinusitis, runny nose, restlessness, abdominal pain
• Specific applications are demonstrated and also practically implemented and applied by the course participants.
• Beeswax wrap, flaxseed wrap, oil compress, potato wrap, onion wrap, lemon wrap
• Information and tips on specialist literature
• Open session for questions and clarifications

Course fee: CHF 90.-/person

Course duration: 1 morning from 9:30 am to approximately 12 pm

Bring along: writing materials and paper for notes, comfortable clothing and warm socks.
